Having been open for only a year, Partner and Vet, Ann, and her team of Nurses and Receptionists have worked hard to make the practice a success, and they continue to go from strength to strength. We are now looking for a new enthusiastic vet to join us as we grow further. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to build your own client base or have new ideas of how to do or shape things, as we are a team who are always open to new ideas.  

Our well-equipped surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and you’ll get use of our equipment which includes digital x-ray, ultrasound and dental x-ray. 

Person Specification

You will be a proactive veterinary surgeon with good people skills and solid medical and surgical skills. There will be a sole charge requirement, so you should feel confident with this. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the role, delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and enjoy the variety the role will bring. If you are keen to develop within your own area of interest, we offer a generous CPD allowance and plenty of support. 

This role is full or part time, from 10 to 40 hours per week, and will include 1 in 2 Saturdays, but no Sunday working or OOHs, ensuring a great work/life balance.

We are based in the small town of Heanor located just off of the M1, junction 26. The East Midlands airport is only 20 minutes away and you can reach the centre of Nottingham within half an hour.
