Job Details

We are seeking a Mobile Veterinary Surgeon to support our practices in the Southend region, based in a maximum of 3 clinics

These clinics may include Basildon, Rayleigh, South Woodham Ferrers and Wickford.

Our mobile role offers great flexibility and gives an excellent opportunity to be part of a close knit network of friendly vets, nurses and support staff. You will have an interesting and varied caseload and will be based at our 24 Hour hospital in Southend.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months' UK small animal experience (or UK equivalent) and will have a client orientated approach with excellent communication skills. You will be supported and encouraged to work to high medical and surgical standards.

The role offers a good work life balance with a 4 day working week, covering a total of 39 hours. This shift pattern includes 1:3 half weekends (Saturday/Sunday) or 1:6 full weekends.

Salary & Benefits:

A competitive package of up to £41,000 per annum (depending on experience), which includes accommodation and vehicle allowances

£1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave, and in-house CPD training

VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid

Skills and Experience

 

You must a Veterinary Surgeon who is registered with the RCVS.

As this is a mobile role, a full driver's license is required.

Ideally, you will also have at least 6 months' UK (or equivalent) veterinary experience with small animals and will be confident working sole charge.
