The role:
Medivet are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team as Head Veterinary Nurse at our fantastic Hospital based in Richmond.
The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the day-to-day running of the practice. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team.
As a Head Veterinary Nurse you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties, share best practice with your team and help to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.
Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. This role covers 40 hours a week over 5 days. The shift pattern includes 1:4 full weekends.

Competitive salary of up to £32,000, dependent on experience

Skills and experience:
You must be a veterinary nurse who is registered with the RCVS.
Branch:
Medivet 24 Hour Richmond provides a range of services, including X-Rays, ECG and Endoscopy. As it is the 24 Hour hospital in this region, it regularly supports other practices in the area with their patients.
The practice is based a 7 minute drive away from the famous Kew Gardens and is a short drive from Richmond Park - the home of the Isabella Plantation gardens and free roaming deer! Chiswick Bridge is also a short walk away, which provides stunning views of the River Thames.
