Small Animal Vet - Valley Veterinary Group, Kilmarnock

Are you looking for a role with a good work/life balance?  Do you want to work with a friendly and welcoming team? Would you like to join the only practice in Scotland who have received 5 outstanding awards in the Practice Standard Scheme? If the answer is yes to any of the above then we have the role for you…

We at Valley Veterinary Group, a two site practice 20 minutes south of Glasgow, are looking for an experienced small animal vet to join our friendly, enthusiastic team.

We would like a vet who is hard working, cares about having a good rapport with clients and staff and is dedicated to providing a high standard of patient care.

We are an increasingly busy practice who pride ourselves in delivering the highest level of veterinary care for our loyal clients and their pets. We have a purpose built RCVS accredited main surgery, which is extremely well equipped to allow case work ups to a high standard.

No on call but we look after our own inpatients on a rota. There is great veterinary support provided and we have an excellent team of nurses.

In return you will receive:

  • An attractive salary and benefits package
  • CPD allowance
  • Company pension scheme
  • Fully funded professional fees
  • Up to 7 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays with our holiday buy and sell scheme!
  • Company bonus scheme
  • Staff discount scheme
  • Company Sharesave scheme
  • Industry leading enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption pay
  • Perk Box, offering a suite of entertainment, hospitality and travel discounts

Fixed term contracts will also be considered.  To enquire about this position, please call or text Lisa on 07921 223 740
