We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Head of Veterinary Pathology to lead the Veterinary Pathology Centre and our team of board-certified pathologists and investigation officers, based in the School of Veterinary Medicine and our £11m purpose built state-of-the-art Veterinary Pathology Centre based in Guildford, Surrey.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Pathology and Infectious Diseases in a Professional Services post. The post holder will have the opportunity to play a leading role in helping to grow the business and reputation of the University’s Veterinary Pathology Centre, through partnership working. The role will also contribute to supporting the diagnostic activities of the Veterinary Pathology Centre, and education and research programmes.

You will have excellent communication skills, an appetite for strategic thinking and innovation, and be able to work well in a team. In this strategic role, you will be supported by a team of veterinary surgeons, board-certified pathologists, scientists and skilled technical staff.
