Job Details

We are seeking an Assistant Veterinary Surgeon to join us in our Pembroke and Milford Haven practices in Pembrokeshire. 

This role has consults at Milford Haven with surgeries at Pembroke. Pembroke is a partnered branch with a team of four nurses, and working alongside the Head CCA at Milford Haven. 

We are seeking someone with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop these practices further. 

This role works Monday to Thursday, 8:30am-6:30pm with Fridays off and 1:3 Saturdays, 9am- 2pm. No on-call! 

It offers a competitive package including £4,200 housing allowance, vehicle or allowance, £1,500 CPD with 3-days CPD leave, RCVS, VDS and BVA membership. 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays.

Pembroke is in the picturesque countryside of Pembrokeshire a popular tourist destination. Pembroke has a number of historic buildings including a castle which is at the heart of the town centre and only a short walk from the practice.

Medivet Pembroke is a modern small friendly practice comes well equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, laser therapy and much more! This is a great opportunity to work in a busy practice with a varied caseload.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is Britain's only coastal national park which is based around its stunning coastline which makes it a perfect destination for weekend walks on Pembrokeshire’s award-winning beaches.
