Midshire Veterinary Group is a long established thriving, 16 Vet independent mixed practice. We are based in the market town of Nuneaton, in the historic county of Warwickshire. Close to the centre
of England, we have fantastic transport links to the rest of the UK.

We have an experienced friendly team of Vets and Nurses, supported by front of house teams and management. We work in a well equipped environment including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, extensive monitoring equipment and an in house lab. We are proud to be a RCVS accredited practice and are members of XL Vets.

We are looking for a colleague to join our busy mixed practice. Enthusiasm is more important to us than experience and so this position would suit a new or recent graduate. Work load will be mixed between our farm, equine and small animal departments- two surgeries just a couple of miles apart. Plenty of support and encouragement will be provided by our experienced and friendly team.

1 in 5 large animal only on call rota (with initial backup as long as required) and a four day week. CPD encouraged and supported including joining the XL Vet network and graduate programme.

We offer:

  • Salary dependent on experience
  • 5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays and a reduced rota over the Christmas period
  • Housing allowance
  • Company car
  • fuel allowance
  • Phone allowance
  • Practice pension scheme
  • CPD allowance
  • Indemnity insurance covered
  • Employee assistance Scheme
  • Staff pet discount
  • Uniform provided
  • Free parking
