The role:

We are looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team as Head Veterinary Nurse at our fantastic practice based at Epsom Fir Tree Road.

As a Head Veterinary Nurse you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practice with your team and helping to support and develop the student nurses in your practice.

The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as the day-to-day running of the practice. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team.

Previous small animal experience is required. Ideally, you would have management experience but we are happy to support the right candidate with management training.

This a permanent full time position, consisting of 40 hours a week over 5 days. The shift pattern includes 1:4 weekends.

Skills and experience:

You must be a Veterinary Nurse who is registered with the RCVS.

 

Branch:

Medivet Epsom Fir Tree Road provides a range of services, including ECG, Endoscopy, Ultrasound and X-Rays. The practice is supported by other Medivet practices, which can extend to provide other services, such as CT Imaging and MRI.

The practice is a 10 minute walk away from Epsom Downs station, which offers direct trains into London Victoria. The are also offers lovely green spaces, such as Nonsuch Park and Epsom Common, which are home to wetlands, ponds and wildlife.
