The School of Veterinary Medicine and Science is an innovative and forward thinking school at University of Nottingham. This has been demonstrated by the dramatic increase of our student numbers by moving to a dual intake system. We have been consistently ranked #1 in NSS survey since our first graduating cohort in 2011 and in the most recent REF we ranked 2nd in the UK for research power. We are also the only veterinary school who are holders of an ASPIRE award, recognising our excellence in student engagement.

As part of our plans in doubling our student intake, we are seeking a number of key staff to support our School in order to continue to deliver at the same high standard we have become well known for.

You will be a key part of the stage of our exciting journey, as we look to continue to push the boundaries and develop a world leading Veterinary School.

We are seeking a Clinical Assistant Professor in Veterinary Anatomic Pathology to contribute to the development of teaching and assessment relating to veterinary anatomic pathology. The role holder will participate in the clinical training of final year veterinary undergraduates and clinical post-graduate taught students and will provide clinical (diagnostic) services to the School’s clinical associate practices and other clients including medicolegal cases.

This is a permanent full-time (36.25 hours per week) post, however job share arrangements may be considered.

Additionally, candidates should submit a CV which gives details of academic qualifications and a career summary.  A statement of not more than 500 words on your long term clinical and teaching plans is also required.

Informal enquiries may be addressed to Mike Clarke, email: michael.clark2@nottingham.ac.uk. Please note that applications sent directly to this email address will not be accepted.
