Mixed Veterinary Surgeon

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a mixed vet to join our 6-vet team in the beautiful hills of Mid Wales extending to the sunny coast of Snowdonia National Park Due to excellent growth in the past 2 years, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our team.

We are situated over 3 branches in mid wales – coastal town of Tywyn and Barmouth, and a small village situated just outside the historic town of Machynlleth. The practice is truly mixed, with the opportunity to allow a good proportion of small animal work, farm and equine visits.

We have good diagnostic equipment including Digital x-ray and
ultrasound. The out of hours is well supported, with 2 vets on call at all times. We share a 1:3 weeknight and weekend rota, and benefit from a half day off in lieu of each weekend on call. A vehicle is provided, along with accommodation. CPD is well funded and encouraged, and there is always excellent support from colleagues and our nursing team.
