A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full time or part time Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and loyal team in New Mills.
Our practice has a friendly client base who appreciate the personal service we provide. The practice has 1 other vet with a support team that are dedicated to their clients and patients. Some work will be required at our Buxton branch, this role would suit someone with a surgical bias.
This practice works on a 4 day per week rota which gives you the balance to enjoy your home and personal life. Bank holidays are also on a rota basis across the region with time back in lieu for any time worked. Only 1 in 3 Saturdays is required too.
What you'll bring to the team?
You must be an experienced vet with a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience. This role requires a motivated vet to work confidently with the ability to make sound clinical judgement.

Salary & Benefits for a full time role.
- Very competitive salary up to £55,000 depending on experience
• Accommodation allowance of £6,600
• Vehicle or £2,500 vehicle allowance
• £1,500 CPD allowance with 3 days CPD leave
• VDS, RCVS, BVA fees paid
• 5 weeks' annual leave plus bank holidays
