The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Matlock practice in Derbyshire. 

We have positions available for a small animal and mixed practice 60% small animal and 40% large. 

This role is full time but part time applications would be considered. You will be required to work 1 night per week on call and 1 weekend in 4. 

The successful candidate will be comfortable with routine surgical procedures and enjoy building good relationships with colleagues and clients. You will have a positive attitude and want to progress and develop your knowledge and skills further.

Salary and benefits 

Salary up to £55,000 dependent on experience plus beneifts:

Accommodation allowance £6,600

Vehicle or vehicle allowance of £2,500

CPD allowance £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave

RCVS, BVS VDS fees paid

5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays

This is a 5 vet practice situated in the heart of the stunning Peak District. 5 minutes from Matlock town centre and over looking beautiful Riber Castle. We are a friendly, close knit, long standing supportive team with friendly clients.

Well equipped practice which includes: digital X-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter monitors and separate theatre and prep areas.
