We’re always looking for people who aspire to stand out in their field, and it’s this vision and enthusiasm that forms the foundation of how we work.

Our mission to deliver progressive, around the clock care means our employees have the very best equipment and treatment options available, including in-house MRI machines and state-of-the-art operating theatres.

We provide ongoing support to our teams, both in practice and through our dedicated training centre. This empowers you to get the very best from our advanced equipment while being on your journey to veterinary excellence.

The role:

We are seeking a full time Veterinary Surgeon to join our busy practice in Wath, South Yorkshire working 4 days per week.

We have fantastic clients and we are active in the local community. You will be working within well-equipped practices including digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, tonometer, bronchoscope and endoscope, blood pressure machine, ECG, full lab including microscope, haematology and biochemistry analyser, bone kit as well as full ex-lap kit including suction and diathermy.

All out-of-hour care is managed by a local Medivet hospital, at Dearne Valley, where you will also have access to CT and MRI.

We take pride in our collaborative approach; you will have the opportunity to call upon our experienced vets for advice. You will work closely with other experienced vets.

South Yorkshire is the gateway to the beautiful peak district. Once an industrial heartland, the region has been transformed and boasts excellent facilities for music, sport, culture and outdoor activities.

The city of Leeds is also rich in industrial heritage. Although it is a city well known for history and architecture, it is also a stone throw away from the Yorkshire countryside, where you can explore the Yorkshire dales or visit several stately homes and gardens.
As South Yorkshire sits on the border with North Yorkshire, you can explore the dales alongside historic cities such as York, Harrogate, Thirsk and Ripon.
