Skills and experience:

You must be registered with the RCVS.

Previous experience working nights is desirable but not essential.

Branch:

This is a thriving practice with rustic charm set in North Yorkshire in the market town of Thirsk with 4 consult rooms, large operating theatre, digital X-ray room, ultrasound and well-equipped prep area.

The practice has a large waiting area and a dedicated reception team.

The beautiful area of North Yorkshire is a vast area with endless opportunities for adventure and sightseeing in the Yorkshire Dales, North Yorkshire moors, Yorkshire coast, Herriot country including historic York, Harrogate with its Victorian Splendour and the bustling market town of Thirsk. All with great shopping opportunities, including a designer outlet at York.

There is also many museums and galleries, including the Jorvic Centre in York, a modern insight to the Viking heritage of York itself and the James Herriot museum in Thirsk for fans of the famous fictional Yorkshire vet.

Every July, the Great Yorkshire Show is held near Harrogate. An iconic three-day event and one of the biggest agricultural events in the English calendar offering a fantastic day out of shopping, food, displays and much more!

In North Yorkshire there are plenty of cosy pubs to visit for good food and a warm fire or you could go to the Michelin starred restaurant 15 minutes down the road in Oldstead.
