Small Animal Vet, Chester
Are you looking for a new challenge?
Does the idea of working within a well equipped practice with a high number of insured clients sound appealing?
Would you like to work in a walled city that boasts ancient architecture, has the most visited wildlife attraction in the UK and is also the birth place of James Bond?
If the answer is yes to any of the above please read on.
We are looking for an experienced small animal Vet to join our team. You will be a confident decision maker and capable of sole charge, ideally with a surgical interest although this is not essential.
We are a small, friendly first opinion practice with the unusual benefit of being based within a referral hospital. This setting means an interesting and supportive environment, excellent internal CPD provision and ability to follow your referral cases that you may otherwise lose sight of.
We like to do things to a high standard and have the compliant, insured owners to facilitate this. We have our own on site OOH service which means no On-Call duties and support for those difficult end of the day emergencies. Your hospitalised patients will receive a high standard of OOH care, without you losing the case. Whilst there are no on-call/OOH duties associated with the role we would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates that would have the interest and capability to join in with the weekend rota.
This is a full time position based on a 40 hour week with weekends on a rota basis.
- Additional professional development, including certificates or other advanced qualifications, fully supported and encouraged
- Upto 7 weeks holiday with our buy and sell holiday scheme
- Attractive salary and bonus scheme
- Pension, sharesave and staff discount schemes
- RCVS and VDS fees paid
- Industry leading maternity and paternity pay
- Access to a range of flexible benefits to suit your needs – such as subsidised gym membership, and cycle to work scheme
For a confidential and informal chat about the position you can contact Sam Van Der Struys, Clinical Director on 01244 853 823 or Samantha.firstname.lastname@example.org.
