Equine Surgeon

Exciting Thoroughbred and Surgeon Position

We have an exciting and challenging opportunity available at the
Riyadh Equine Hospital, to allow an expansion of services later this year
from our newly opened equine hospital. The position will be full-time (5.5
day week), based at the Riyadh Equine Hospital. The position will require
contributing to the after-hours roster, as well as race day and sales
attendance. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.

This role is primarily to serve as a second surgeon on the after-hours
roster, to help with a large colic caseload. Opportunity to do elective surgeries, and to assist with complex surgeries, will also be available. Applicants will be expected to be board certified specialists. Experience in Thoroughbred practice, lameness diagnosis and management would be an advantage although not essential. Contribution to the routine racehorse work will be encouraged.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualification level, but is tax free. The package will include accommodation, vehicle use, annual return flights and a CPD allowance.
