Head Veterinary Nurse - North London

Tame & Wild are recruiting for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice based in Hackney, North London on a permanent basis. This role would be a great opportunity for an experienced Head Nurse looking for a new challenge, or a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to take the next step in their career.

The successful candidate will be managing a team of 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, but with full practice admin support, you will be able to dedicate a lot of your time to nursing.

You will be joining a modern practice, with some great equipment, including in-house MRI machines and state-of-the-art operating theatres.

You will need to demonstrate good leadership skills and the ability to work under pressure. The role includes all aspects of nursing.

The practice is well connected to public transport and is within a walkable distance of three train stations.

The salary for this position is £29,573 to £30,635 per annum, dependent on experience.

Hours;

40 Hours per week

8 hour shifts between the hours of 7:30am and 7:30pm (Monday-Friday)

1 in 4 weekends

Occasional bank holiday and weekend work required
