The main vet surgery is located centrally for the island in Wootton Bridge, with branch surgeries in Newport and Bembridge.

Here at Medina Veterinary Group we are looking for a permanent full time qualified nurse to join our fantastic and friendly team.

The nursing team are constantly challenged and engaged at Medina due to the encouragement of autonomy in the nursing team, whilst ensuring that they are still supported as much as required. The veterinary team have ultimate trust in the nurse's capabilities which results in the nurses having the opportunity to consistently work at the top end of their capabilities. This results in the nurse's role at Medina being predominantly focussed on the more challenging and thus rewarding side of the job. These include nurse clinics/triage and even stitch ups and mass removals.

We are an inspected and approved training centre (VNTC) for Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN).

In return we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated qualified veterinary nurse to join our friendly team!

This position is for 40 hours based on Monday – Friday between 8.30 am and 6 pm. OOH are shared with sister practice covering 1 in 13 nights. The ideal person will be a great team player, have good customer service skills and a passion for animal welfare.
