Vets Now Referrals Glasgow is one of only ten veterinary facilities to offer an ECVECC (European College of Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care) approved ECC Residency program.
The multidisciplinary hospital has an established and busy emergency and critical care service working with specialists, referral clinicians and other discipline residents in areas including, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology and Diagnostic Imaging.
State-of-the-art facilities and equipment, combined with a high case load and inter-departmental collaboration, ensure an excellent learning environment.
We are delighted to now be inviting applications for the following –
1x Small Animal Emergency & Critical Care Resident – 3yr duration
Leading towards the ECVECC Diploma.
Requirements include:
- A recognised veterinary degree
- RCVS membership
- A 1 year rotating internship or equivalent experience
- A good standard of written and spoken English (If English is not your first language, you must take an IELTS (Academic) test and attain at least level 7, with no element below 6.5. A certified copy of your test result must be submitted with your application)
Although the residency commences in July 2020, we would like the successful candidate to start their role with us in April 2020, although this is negotiable depending on the individual’s circumstances.
1x Small Animal Emergency & Critical Care internship – 12mth duration.
A truly discipline specific internship which offers the opportunity for discipline specific training from specialists in this field. Opportunity exists to progress to Residency within Vets Now in this area.
Requirements include:
- A recognised veterinary degree
- RCVS membership
This role commences in February 2020.
