Our practice in Doncaster Wheatley is looking for a strongly skilled and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to take on a lead role within their vet team.

This is an ideal opportunity if you are looking to take the next steps in your career progression or if you are looking for a new challenge, as this role will expose you to a variety of cases and give you the chance to demonstrate a keen interest in medicine, as well as work closely with the clinical team, setting the bar of high client and patient care.

You should be a motivated, experienced vet who wants to have a real input in the practice and help us stay at the forefront of clinical thinking while maintaining our ethos of putting pets first. This role plays a key part within a small, friendly team and you will need to be adaptable and flexible with good general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery.

This rewarding position is full time and will include 1 in 4 weekends on a rota basis but no OOH, meaning all of our colleagues can enjoy an excellent work/life balance. Successful applicants should be confident in occasional sole charge role.

Our practice is purpose built to industry leading standards with state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab and operating suite. Based in Yorkshire, we have great transport links to Sheffield and Leeds as well as Doncaster Sheffield Airport a short drive away.
