Job Details

Medivet Bedworth Heath Road are seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to support and drive their practice. This is an exciting opportunity suited to a motivated and experienced Vet; you will be leading a friendly team made up of one other Veterinary Surgeon, one Registered Veterinary Nurse, one Student Veterinary Nurse, 2 Patient Care Assistants and a Receptionist.

Our busy branch has recently been refurbished to provide excellent facilities including separate dog, cat and isolation wards, large spacious prep area, large theatre, 3 consulting rooms, digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental suite and endoscopy. You will be exposed to a varied and interesting caseload in our state-of-the-art clinic.

What you'll bring to the team?

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and confident working sole charge occasionally. You must have a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop this practice further. Career progression is actively promoted and partnership opportunities are available for the right candidate.

This position would suit a Vet who is keen to broaden their surgical skills and study towards a certificate, this would be a fantastic opportunity for development.
