Job Details

Do you fancy working 26 weeks of the year on an attractive 7 nights on, 7 nights off rota (7pm to 9am shifts) with a full-time salary and benefits? Based in Berkshire with excellent transport links, our newly refurbished Wokingham 24 hour Hospital is looking for dedicated Night Vet. The clinic is the central hub of a close-knit group of 9 other practices including multiple certificate holders and a well-established client base. The branch sees a very mixed caseload, usually at least one orthopaedic case a day, several ultrasounds a week both for out and in-patients and the usual mix of medical cases. The Hospital is well-equipped with state of the art facilities such as digital x-ray and ultrasound.

Wokingham is currently a 5 Vet practice with 7 supportive Nurses and a Reception team of 3. Our Hospital has two knowledgeable and experienced Branch Partners, David who holds an Orthopaedic certificate and Nadia who specialises in feline medicine and an ultrasonographer.

Ideally you will be an experienced vet with a real passion for emergency and critical care who enjoys working to a gold standard. You will benefit from on call support and this is a wonderful opportunity to get to grips with emergency work. In addition, you would be actively encouraged to pursue a certificate in ECC.

All our clinics share the same software so you will have full access to the patients’ history at all times; case continuity guaranteed!
