Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Colchester

I am recruiting for a proudly independent Veterinary group looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their expanding team in Colchester.

We are searching for an enthusiastic, hard-working Veterinary Surgeon looking to join an excellent RCVS accredited small animal practice in Colchester. The practice is well-established and well-equipped with a lovely spacious working environment. The practice has recently had a refurbishment and has 4 consulting rooms, 1 theatre, large prep area and a dental suite. You will be working with modern toys including Ultrasound, Digital X-ray, ECG and Dental Equipment.

You will be supported by a brilliant team of 11 experienced Veterinary Surgeons with a certificate holder in Feline Medicine and 2 other Vets working towards their certificate in Surgery and Cardiology. You will have additional support from their dedicated nursing and support team. The practice actively encouraged professional development and has a CPD allowance funded to certificate level for those wanting to start a certificate in the future.

The practice boasts a great work-life balance of just a 4 day working week with flexible shift patterns. There is no additional on-call or OOH work required. You can enjoy your free time over the weekends as the Vets share their weekends on a Rota basis.

You will be rewarded with an excellent salary dependent upon experience. Additional perks are included within the package including a CPD budget funded to certificate level, RCVS, VDS and an extra membership will be paid too.
