Experienced Farm Animal Veterinary Surgeon, Full or Part Time, Farm Animal Only, Competitive Salary + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced farm animal veterinary surgeon due to the development and expansion of Yoredale Farm Vets, based in Leyburn on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. 

The role would suit an experienced vet and will involve working with our dairy, beef and sheep clients.  In addition to a varied medical and surgical caseload, there will be ample opportunities for the successful candidate to develop their clinical interests in areas such dairy fertility, herd and flock health planning (including our flock health club) and advanced breeding.  There are excellent long term career opportunities, whether your aspirations are towards specific clinical expertise or towards working alongside the management team to develop the business.  TB testing is shared between team members and we are in a 4 yearly TB testing area.  Support will be provided for Official Veterinarian training if required.  You will be working within a supportive team and out-of-hours will be on a rota basis, with generous time off given in lieu
