We have an exciting opening for a Lecturer in Locomotor Biomechanics to join the Department of Comparative Biomedical Sciences. The position is based primarily at our Hawkshead campus.

The post is suitable for a research-focused academic with a biological, physical, engineering, medical or veterinary science background. You will have a proven track-record of research and REF-returnable publications in an area of locomotor biomechanics and physiology with reference to animal movement. You will be expected to establish an active research
group whose focus will complement the ongoing research programme in the Structure & Motion Laboratory (www.rvc.ac.uk/SML) and align with the College’s existing research strengths in Comparative Physiology and Clinical Sciences (https://www.rvc.ac.uk/research/programmes).

You will enthusiastically contribute to teaching, assessment, and associated administration of undergraduate courses, focusing on integrated structure and function and the locomotor system.
