Role
Teaching

Innovative veterinary education; Fostering student transition to graduate; Partnering with the profession in clinical education; Flexible working; Academic benefits; Collegial team ethic; Structured personal development.

These are just some of the elements that our current Veterinary Clinical Teaching Fellows (VCTF) highlight as providing reward in their career. Interested in joining them? If so, we have two vacancies in the large animal section of our existing VCTF team.

The VCTFs act as clinical and personal tutors to our final year students, supporting their learning and facilitating their transition to new graduates, whilst also supporting practice-based trained clinical mentors in the delivery of our distributed model of clinical education.

These positions would suit someone with experience in equine, production animal or mixed general practice, who has an intuitive passion for teaching. Prior academic experience is not a prerequisite.

Due to the geographical locale of our partner practices, these posts could be tailored to suit someone who is based in the South-West or the Northern counties of England; the post holder will also need to travel to Guildford on a regular basis.

These roles support flexible working, and include generous holiday allowance.

Salary Range: £32,817 to £40,322, plus 10% mark-up for MRCVS.
