Equine Vet

We are looking for an Equine Vet to join our enthusiastic team at Pool House Equine Clinic, rural Staffordshire. We are looking for someone with the desire to learn and deliver excellent service to our clients.

A mainly ambulatory role in our first opinion practice, backed up by our new diagnostic center and surgical facilities. Digital radiography, MRI, ultrasonography, laser surgery, gastroscopy and other usual equipment. Plenty of support for younger colleagues from a large team of diplomates and certificate holders.

Full time role but would consider part time or potential job share. One weekend in four (12 per year) with compensatory day off per weekend worked. One late up to 7.30 pm and between 2 and 3 night duties per month.

Currently there are 18 vets in the equine team. 9 are clinic based and 9 provide a first opinion ambulatory service. We encourage the Ambulatory vet team to follow cases through the clinic. The equine clinic is situated at our Crown Inn Farm site and has a large modern facility recently opened by HRH the Prince of Wales.
