Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Manchester – busy 24/7 Hospital – daytime shifts

We are currently on the lookout for an enthusiastic veterinary surgeon for a fantastic 24 hour hospital based in Manchester. The surgery currently has 16 permanent vets and has been fully staffed for a while.

The hospital is their busiest surgery and has an exceptional caseload, it therefore, offers an incredible opportunity for the progression of interests and the treatment of animals. The Role 

Our client is after a vet with a social heart who is highly skilled, though consideration will be given to vets with a strong skill base but wanting to take the next step. It's important the right candidate is a true team player and enjoy the buzz that comes from working in a busy environment. The role is a GP role and will involve the breadth of general practice, but they are also able to assist people in specialisation due to the exceptional caseload and capabilities they have. 

Job Particulars 

• Veterinary Surgeon Pay Scale:  £31156 to £47074 rising to £61864 on the advanced scale.
• Large multi-vet team 
• Onsite night team and day team 
• 40 hour contract
• PT considered 
• 2:9 weekends
• 6 weeks holiday including Bank holidays
