Small Animal Vet, South Wales

We have a fantastic opportunity for a full-time small animal vet to come and join our friendly, experienced team.

We are located in a beautiful part of the country, with the Brecon Beacons National Park nearby and great transport links to Bristol and Cardiff (45 mins) and London (2.5 hours)

The role will be mainly based at our Abergavenny and Tredegar sites. With 13 vets and 4 well equipped RCVS accredited sites, we provide a varied and interesting case load. Our team includes certificate holders in Surgery, Medicine and Cardiology, meaning we can provide excellent case support when required. 24 hour nursing at our Abergavenny site enables us to provide excellent clinical care to our patients.

This is a full-time position (4 day week) to include 1/9 weekends and 1/10 weeknights; however we are open to part time/job share applications.

You will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a small animal practice environment. Our ideal candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience in practice.

In return we can offer a range of benefits to include:

Competitive salary, holiday allowance of 20 days plus bank holidays, Pension, Healthshield policy and RCVS and VDS membership.

We strongly believe in developing our vets. Certificates are fully supported along with all other career aspirations.

Does this sound like the role for you? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
