The Practice

Our client is looking for an experienced Vet to join a 12 Vet, 14 RVN team in Northamptonshire. The practice has a very loyal client base with an excellent reputation for delivering an outstanding veterinary service. They operate on 3 core values of staff quality, customer and patient care. Part of a forward thinking partnership of highly respected practices that employ some of the best clinicians in the country, the practice is rich in top talent and makes this an exciting and vibrant working environment.

Their growing practice is looking for an ambitious experienced Vet Surgeon to join their team on a full time basis. Applicants must be Northampton based or be able to commute from the surrounding area. .

The Benefits 

- Salary up to £50,000 DOE

- 4 day working week

- 1:8 OHH in the evening only (Inpatients)

- 1:8 weekends (Surgery on Saturday and Sunday)

- An interest in medicine would be an advantage, but certainly not compulsory

- RCVS/VDS/BVA fees paid

- Flexible CPD allowance

- Certificate supported if desired

- 25 days holiday + Bank holidays

- Accommodation could be provided for short term only if looking to relocate

The Role 

As an experienced Vet Surgeon, your role will include a broad range of qualified veterinary skills, including routine surgery and consults, providing guidance to clients on the best possible pet care. You will be a good all rounder and be happy both when ins surgery and in the consult room.

About You 

To be considered as an experienced Vet Surgeon, you’ll be: 

- RCVS registered

 
AND 

- At least 2 years’ UK experience, you’ll have experience of working in a busy Hospital environment. Those that have an interest in Internal Medicine or certificate holders in this field would be especially welcome to apply, although not essential. Naturally, you are a passionate people person and thrive working as part of a team. Willingness to expand your clinical skills by undertaking additional courses to further your knowledge of the would also be an advantage. This would be supported by the practice.
