New or Recent Graduate Position

Dave and Lou are looking for a new colleague to join their small animal team.

Do you want to develop your skills and work up your own cases within a supportive team environment, over our 5 sites?

We are a rural but progressive, committed and equipped to do as much as possible in house but our position on the M5 corridor (J23) within easy reach of Bristol, Exeter and Bath allows easy access to referral centres when necessary.

At Axe Valley Vets, we pride ourselves on a personal and professional service, and the successful candidate will become a valued member of our team.

As your confidence grows we will give you greater independence and you will join the out of hours rota only when you feel ready (but we will still be there to support you-Our clinical WhatsApp group is amazing!). When you join the rota you will enjoy a half day per week.

We value our practice-client relationship so our out of hours is not outsourced. Therefore this position currently involves 1 in 8 weeknights and one weekend in 6 and 3-4 additional Saturday morning per year.

4 ½ day week, generous CPD and holiday.

We all know the going rates so your package will be competitive.

Successful applicants can be enrolled onto a suitable graduate mentoring scheme (Grads to Vets/VetSure Academy).
