Veterinary Surgeons

Calling all veterinary surgeons – do you enjoy tea and cakes and want
to join a happy, experienced and supportive team?

One of our vets is relocating and we’re looking for a vet to join us to help provide our clients with excellent customer service. Our team includes both veterinary surgeon and veterinary nurse certificate holders with skills in medicine, ultrasound, surgery and anaesthesia.

Our recently refurbished premises are well-equipped: including ultrasound, ECHO, laparoscopic kit for key-hole surgery, bronchoscope, gastroscope, in-house biochemistry, haematology, urine and acid-base analysers, multi-parameter monitors, digital and dental radiography.

We are independent practice, are RCVS accredited and hold ISFM Gold-Friendly Cat Status.

We feel CPD is vital to perform at a high level and we're happy to support both CPD and certificates.

The role involves participation in a 1 in 6 equally shared rota with excellent time off in lieu. Salary package commensurate with experience and can include accommodation in a 3-bed house 5 minutes from the surgery. Experience preferred but ample support available to accommodate a new graduate.

We’re in a rural location but close to the bright lights of Leicester, 
Nottingham, Derby and Birmingham and with fantastic road, rail and air links. There are also excellent local leisure facilities close-by in the National Forest and Peak District.
