Job Details

Our client in Cheshire would like to welcome a 2018 graduate to join their team of 4 small animal vets.  This busy first opinion practice will offer the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to fully develop their routine surgical and medical cases.  Senior vets carry out basic orthopaedics and visiting specialist, Rory Paton BVSc CertAVP MRCVS regularly visits to carry out more complex procedures.

The rota is fantastic, 3 weeks working 4 days 3 x 8 hour shifts plus one  hour shifts with 1 weekend in 4.  This averages a 37 hour week but salaries are uprated to a 40 hour week.  

There are no OOH's.

Practice equipment and facilities include:

  • Entirely separate cat and dog wards
  • Multiple consult rooms/isolation
  • Digital X-Ray
  • Ultrasound
  • Full Idexx kit including blood and Biochem.
  • 2 operating theaters.
