A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Veterinary Surgeon to join our team based between our two small animal practices in Cowbridge and Llantwit Major.

The successful candidate will have at least six months’ UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience. You must have a client-oriented approach and excellent communication skills, work to a very high standard both medically and surgically and have the drive and ambition to help develop these branches further. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player and have a passion for delivering outstanding care to your patients, as well as a first-class service to your clients. Some sole charge (consulting only) will be required at our Llantwit Major clinic.  

Cowbridge is an affluent market town with a traditional high street full of independent shops and has once been voted the best place to live in Wales by the Sunday Times. Llantwit Major is a pretty seaside town 5 minutes’ drive away from the beach and both practices are only a short drive away from Cardiff and its Airport. 

Our small animal practices have a supportive team of two experienced and knowledgeable Vets one of whom does Orthopaedics, a friendly nursing team of four and a receptionist. Both the practices have well-equipped facilities and see a varied caseload.
