Job Details

Our 100% small animal clinic in Liverpool have a vacancy for a senior veterinary surgeon to joint their team of 5 vets. Working with vets with 6 months upto 10 years experience you will be involved in developing junior vets as well as further developing your own skills is a supportive environment.

The well equipped practice is very large allowing for total separation of canine and feline cases as well as having a separate exotics treatment area and dental suite.

Equipment includes digital X-Ray (dental x-ray on order) ultrasound and full Idexx blood and biochem kit.

On any given weekday there are at least 2 vets plus 6-7 nurses and on weekends, 2 vets and 3 nurses. Currently vets work 4, 9.5 hour days plus 1 in 4 weekends.

Veterinary nurses are fully utilised carrying out any schedule 3 appointments they can, freeing up veterinary surgeons.
