We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to come and join our lovely team at Sutton-in-Ashfield Vets4Pets!

We are conveniently situated close to junction 28 of the M1, with various public transport links to Mansfield, Nottingham, Chesterfield and Derby.

You’ll be working with Practice partner Stephanie Cochrane, who opened the surgery in 2014 and is currently in the process of undertaking a certificate in Exotic animal practice. You will also have the support of a warm and friendly team of 4 vets (one completing a certificate in small animal medicine), 6 Nurses, 6 Receptionists and a Practice Manager.

Join us and you’ll have access to state of the art equipment including a full laboratory suite, digital radiography, high tech ultrasound machine with a cardiac probe, ECG and tonopen.

Person Specification

Our ideal Vet will have experience in all routine surgeries and be capable of sole charge.

We are happy to consider applications from candidates looking for full or part-time hours to support an excellent work/life balance. You will be happy to know that there are no OOH! Standard shift patterns are 8am-6pm or 9am-7pm, 1 in 4 weekends but can be flexible.

We would even consider an applicant looking to further progress their career and challenge themselves as a Head Vet! This leadership role would be dependent upon experience and qualifications as ‘with great power comes great responsibility!’
