Due to expansion, an exciting vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic and passionate farm vet to join our team here at Nantwich Farm Vets.

In a rapidly changing climate, Nantwich Farm Vets remains a fully independent practice and strives to provide the best possible opportunities for development and progression to our younger vets, as well as maintaining the team ethos and close relationship with all our clients that a privately-owned practice brings.

Nantwich Farm Vets is made up of 16 full time clinical, farm-only vets as well as a team of TB testers, veterinary technicians and support staff. We cover much of Cheshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire and North Wales with consultancy services to clients further afield. All vets are equipped with everything necessary to carry out their jobs to the highest standard and our recently completed, brand new offices provide an exceptional working environment when not on farm.

As we have recently employed two new graduates, the ideal candidate would have at least one to two years experience in farm animal practice. They would be an enthusiastic and hard-working individual who is keen to progress and develop their own knowledge and skills.

Frequent team meetings, clinical talks and journal clubs ensure we provide the most current and advanced services and advice. Vets are actively encouraged to follow areas of special interest such as nutrition, lameness and parlour performance and the practice has numerous diploma and certificate holders. Structured on-farm meetings, performance monitoring and staff training are common-place on many farms and younger vets are continuously supported and guided by more experienced colleagues where needed.

If you are interested in joining our team or would like to discuss the role further on a strictly confidential basis, send an email or CV by clicking the apply button.
