Small animal Vet required for cutting edge practice based in South Yorkshire.

This progressive 24-hour practice are looking for a day vet to join their rota of twelve vets.

Facilities include all the usual equipment such as Ultrasound and Digital X-Ray, but also a full endo-surgery suite, orthopaedic surgical equipment, hydrotherapy and plans for a CT scanner later in the year. The team includes 3 Certificate holders and others who are currently studying, they would love to welcome someone who has either completed or is looking to complete a Certificate in the future.

They are a supportive and friendly team and have a very busy caseload. Ideally you will be a confident vet who can comfortably deal with most that routine consultations can throw up. The environment is very supportive and learning and development is not an issue to provide, so a recent graduate with a good level of confidence would be suitable. There is no sole charge and there is always someone around to advise, but the practice are keen to recruit someone who is able to deal with the fast moving pace of the practice.

The working week based on 37.5 hours so does provide a good work life balance, with 2 full days off during the week but working alternate weekends. There are NO OOH’s as this is covered by the practices night team. The team would also welcome part time applications particularly from someone who is happy to work weekends.
