Technical Farm and Equine Sales Manager (Field based - North East)

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified vet to join us as a field-based Technical Farm and Equine Sales Manager.

Reporting directly to the Equine & Food-producing Animal Business Manager, the position will have a dual function:

1. Developing and managing sales of our extensive Farm Animal and Equine product portfolios through veterinary practices in line with specific territory sales targets (Approximately 70% of the time)
2. Providing technical support to the sales team in the form of accompanied customer calls, CPD, direct liaison with key stakeholders & working with the marketing teams to ensure strategy and marketing materials are relevant, technically accurate and address UK veterinary requirements. (Approximately 30% of the time)

Candidates will have relevant experience and knowledge within the Farm and Equine sectors and be a member of the RCVS with 3-4 years'  experience in large animal /mixed practice. With the drive and enthusiasm to achieve sales targets and identify new opportunities the candidate will need to demonstrate good commercial awareness and deliver results in a customer focussed sales environment. Excellent
communication and organisational skills, attention to detail and a willingness to travel within the North East but also nationally and abroad if needed are also essential.

There will also be a requirement to spend some time working from our UK Head Office near Shrewsbury. Full training and support will be provided. The position is full-time and field-based in the North East of England.
