An exciting and unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate veterinary surgeon to lead the delivery of world-class, practice-based veterinary clinical research with a focus on primary care, and to help shape the future of veterinary education.

The University Of Surrey School Of Veterinary Medicine has an extensive, established partner network of more than 50 veterinary practices and a fully distributed teaching model of clinical education (Intramural Rotations or IMR).

As Lecturer in Veterinary Clinical Research you will act as a catalyst for expanding clinical research outputs within the School of Veterinary Medicine, maximising the value of the IMR partner network for practice-based research and answering the ‘big questions’ in primary care that are
most relevant to practitioners. You will inspire and enable colleagues, external partners and students to get involved.

The post holder will join the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences and our supportive, multidisciplinary team, dedicated to equipping the next generation of veterinarians for the challenges of the 21st Century.

For informal enquiries please contact Mr David Tisdall (d.tisdall@surrey.ac.uk), Head of Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences.
