Job Details

A small animal practice servicing in the North West are looking to recruit new members to their group of practices in Lancashire. The principal of the practice has owned this successful business for over 40 years with the surgeons to match. Advanced practitioner and assistant vets that hold certificates. Complemented with an abundance of nurses and admin staff to ensure the running of the practice enabling each member of staff to fully strive in their role. Busy and varied caseload with lots of pathology. All work is undertaken in house with full diagnostic lab, hydro pool, laser and acupuncture. Large OOH service is provided for emergency and critical care to other practices.

1 position is suitable for a new/recent graduate level. Rota of Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. OOHs will only be introduced once candidate is settled with a supportive team for back up this will be on a 1 in 5 weekend rota and 2 nights a week. Any nights on call that are completed will be a finishing time of 8.30am and the return to work will not be until 3pm that afternoon. Competitive salary is provided along with accommodation if needs be.

Position open for a 3 to 4-year experienced small animal veterinary surgeon. Great knowledge of medicine and surgery needed but also looking for someone to broaden their field of knowledge.Rota of Monday-Friday 9am-6pm. OOHs will be sole charge also and weekends are a rota of 2/6 weekends and 2 nights a week. When working nights, no return into the business until after 3pm. Competitive salary to match the experience and skill level is dependant ranging from 38,000-45,000.
