Reading Vets4Pets is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join the busy practice on a full time basis.

The successful surgery is based inside Pets at Home and has a growing client base and a fantastic reputation locally and further afield. We are fully equipped with modern technology including ultrasound, digital x-ray, blood pressure machine, and much more.

The team currently consists of 3 Vets, 5 Nurses and a fantastic Reception and support team.

By joining us you will be part of a team dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care and as this role plays a key part within a small, friendly team the ideal candidate will be adaptable and flexible. The practice has a family feel and a real presence in the community.
 
The ideal candidates to join our team will have good general surgical and medical skills and experience in emergency surgery.
 
This rewarding position is full time and will include some weekends on a rota basis but no OOH, meaning all of our colleagues can enjoy an excellent work/life balance. Successful applicants should be confident in an occasional sole charge role and enjoy the variety provided by the clients and colleagues.
