Job Details
I am currently working with a well known veterinary group who have been awarded RCVS Hospital status. The group is based in Leicester in the East Midlands and operate a small and large animal department. The practices are self-sufficient for all routine first opinion work and have their own fixed veterinary teams, promoting continuity for clients.
They are searching for that special jigsaw piece that is in the shape of a Key Large Animal Veterinary Surgeon - do you think you could be the right fit? The team are an experienced bunch and can offer a lot of guidance and career progression. This role would suit an confident, enthusiastic individual with experience looking to shape the direction of the practice and to mentor a progressive team.
The Role:
Excellent working conditions, 4 day week, 1 in 10 rota!
Experienced farm clinician is required to take on a senior position to further strengthen a great team of 7 farm vets in Leicestershire. The work will be primarily dairy focused working with fantastic dairy clients using progressive approaches to maximise herd health. The role will involve minimal TB testing as the practice has a team of 3 dedicated TB testers.
The Candidate:
Minimum of 2 years experience in dairy and farm practice with the ability to carry out routine surgeries.
You would be familiar with software tools ( Myhealthyherd, Interherd+ / Total Vet) and be committed to their use for herd health work. You will be a strong team player with a good sense of humour who enjoys the challenges of effective communication with colleagues and farmers.
