Veterinary Surgeon, Part Time
Telford Madeley Vets4Pets
Surgery Information / Job Description
Due to ongoing success and an ever-expanding client-base, we have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our recently PSS accredited practice in Madeley, Telford! We’re a small, stable team who aim to treat our patients like our own pets. We are purely a small furries practice and do not see any reptiles or birds.
Practice partners, Ed Gillams and Hope Hobbs, opened the doors to the surgery just over a year ago in March and are already enjoying a growing and varied caseload. Ed graduated from the University of Bristol in 2006 and, along with Hope the Practice Manager, leads a friendly team of 2 RVNs and 2 Client Care Advisors.
Our spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards with state of the art equipment including ultrasound scanner, digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.
You’ll be joining a practice where development is fully supported and encouraged. Funding of a certificate is a real possibility for the right candidate.
Our ideal new colleague will be confident in routine surgeries and comfortable with sole charge, however there will be support available.
This is a part time role, working roughly 20 hours per week, with the potential to increase hours as the business grows, with some Saturday mornings on a rota basis, but no OOH! As this vacancy has arisen due to growth, it is an extremely exciting time to join us.
As you would expect from the market leader in small animal veterinary care, we offer a supportive and friendly working environment together with career development opportunities and an excellent package and benefits that includes: competitive salary, CPD allowance and exclusive company discounts and rewards - including 20% off at Pets at Home.
If you share our passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and great customer service, and would like to join our team then we would love to hear from you.
We are an equal opportunities employer.
