Our established and friendly practices in Abingdon and Oxford Botley Road are looking for a keen and ambitious vet with great personal skills and a drive for excellence! Dan and Joe are Joint Venture Partners to 3 locations within the group, Companion Care Newbury, Vets4Pets Abingdon and Vets4Pets Oxford. They pride themselves on offering the very highest clinical standards by employing the very best colleagues and by encouraging a culture of progression and continued professional development.

You will have the opportunity to spend time at both practices, weighted towards one site if preferred with some shared work across both sites.
You will be joining a team of 6 vet surgeons, 6 veterinary nurses, and 6 receptionists who work closely together to provide a supportive environment for patients, clients and colleagues alike.

The practice is extremely well equipped with state of the art equipment providing advanced orthopaedic and keyhole surgery.

The team also see a wide variety of cases and have a growing number of insured clients allowing cases to be thoroughly investigated and worked up to a high standard. The caseloads include advanced orthopaedic and soft tissue surgical referrals as well as laparoscopy, ultrasonography, and
digital radiography.

They place a significant emphasis on work life balance and offer a 4-day week with a 1 in 4 weekend rota with no OOH. Generous holiday package and CPD allowance with all professional fees paid as standard. Certificate financially supported.

Whilst an experienced vet is preferable, they have strong experience in training recent and new graduates and would therefore welcome applications from both.
