Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies

A new opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Wildlife Health and Conservation Medicine at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. The purpose of this role is to undertake a range of clinical veterinary, teaching, and research activities in wildlife health and conservation medicine. This role will make a significant contribution to the wildlife health and conservation activities of the School, and to the development of the new cross-institutional Edinburgh Conservation Science
(www.ECOS.ac.uk) initiative that aims to promote the transfer of academic science to applied conservation management, policy and training.

You will support the Director of ECOS and Programme Directors of the postgraduate Masters programmes in Conservation Medicine and One Health. You must have a veterinary degree registrable with the RCVS, postgraduate veterinary qualifications relevant to wildlife health and conservation medicine and a postgraduate degree in a relevant subject. Some teaching experience in a relevant subject area is also required.
