We are looking for an additional ruminant vet to join our current team of pig, farm, small and mixed species vets in South Norfolk. The practice is situated in the Waveney Valley, 30 minutes south of Norwich and its international airport, and only 90 minutes from London by train.

This position involves working mainly with dairy cattle, beef and sheep with all the kit needed to provide a comprehensive healthcare service (Easi scan 3 and 4, BBSE, Interherd, in house lab etc). The proposed role requires some experience, but a 2018 graduate would be considered suitable. As we are part of the VetPartners network, we can offer great support alongside a career structure which enables you to develop further both professionally and personally. Individual special interests are encouraged, with a generous CPD allowance which can be used to fully fund study to certificate/DBR level. There are additional opportunities to be involved in a wider network of special interest groups as part of our larger organisation.

Our ideal candidate would work the equivalent of at least 3 days a week (up to full-time hours if required), and a willingness to take a share in the on-call rota (currently 1:5 with time off in lieu to compensate for any weekends and bank holidays worked). Mixed species could be incorporated for the right candidate but is not a pre-requisite for the position on offer.

The salary package will be dependent on the skills you can bring to our team, with benefits such as a company car, phone and professional memberships tailored to the individual.

To find out more, please telephone the practice in the first instance and ask to speak to Bev or Emily, or alternatively email by clicking the apply button.
