Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Bridgend, South Wales

I am recruiting for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon that's interested in joining a proudly independent Veterinary Hospital based in Bridgend, South Wales.

I am recruiting for a proudly independent, modern and purpose built Veterinary Hospital based in Bridgend. The position is based in the main hospital with opportunities to work within their surrounding 3 branch practices. The practice is a very modern practice and extremely well-equipped with Ultrasound, Digital X-ray and ECG.

They currently have a supportive and very experienced team of 14 Vets with certificate holders in Cardiology, Ophthalmology, small animal surgery and others completing soon. Interest areas and certification is actively encouraged and funded in the practice. They also have a great team of 16 nurses, admin, reception and support team.

You would be required to work full-time with a 4.5 day working week, 1:6 nights on call with support from their nursing team and 1:5 weekends. If you have worked the weekend you would get a day back in lieu the following week.

They offer a very competitive salary on this position with RCVS, VDS and extra membership fees paid. You will be given a CPD budget actively encouraged and funded to certificate level. You will have the option for a company pension scheme and be given 28 days holiday allowance.
