Small Animal Vet

An exciting opportunity to join our single site SA only practice in picturesque Hereford for a 12 month maternity cover position, with the likelihood of a permanent position ongoing.

We are looking for a Vet with ideally at least 3 years’ experience to work either full time on a 4 day week or part time on a 2-3 day week alongside our enthusiastic friendly team.

The full time position involves a 1:5 quiet on call rota and the part time position involves a 1:10 quiet on call rota. The full time role benefits from a long weekend after a weekend on call allowing plenty of time to get out and about and explore the numerous outdoor activities on offer in Herefordshire or just enjoy some time to relax and unwind.

We are a supportive and progressive practice, open to new ideas and suggestions and value clinical freedom. We have a great team of RVN's as well as 2 SVN's and pride ourselves on a high standard of clinical and client care. The practice is well equipped with in house lab machines, ultrasound and digital x-ray and we are looking to invest further in the future.

CPD is funded and encouraged and includes RCVS/VDS fees and BVA membership. Other benefits such as reduced gym membership and private medical insurance provided. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience.
