Job Details
This client based close to Leeds, is looking to create a new twilight role in the practice.
Working with both the day and night team you would be exposed to a huge and varied caseload, with the opportunity to learn from each. This amazing opportunity would suit a developing vet who is already confident with routine first opinion but is looking for a chance to see and experience busy emergency caseloads and a chance to deal with many unusual surgeries.
Ideally the practice are seeking someone to work between the hours of 3pm and 12pm 4 days a week, for two weeks then a whole week off. This would also include 1:3 weekend day shifts.
The clinic is fully functioning 24 hours a day, and nights also involve consults and a full routine surgery list, as well as exciting emergency procedures fed from several practices in the area. The facilities are outstanding and include real time blood labs, endoscopes and extensive orthopedic kit and they are fully equipped to deal with complex soft tissue surgery and cardiology etc and the team contains certificate holders to provide support and mentoring, and would be more than happy to offer the chance to study for a Certificate in Emergency and critical care for the right person
This role has the scope to progress into a full time night role if desired, or to work in the day team once roles are available.
